This is an excellent current model electronic theodolite from Nikon. It has all the features you need, in an ergonomically designed easy-to-use package. The 30″ plate vial combined with the 5″ minimum display really deliver the goods, accuracy wise.
This is not a stripped-down builders’ instrument either; it has a keyboard on each side and a powerful telescope. 6 alkaline AA batteries provide up to 48 hours of continuous use. This particular unit is is excellent condition, and has been completely serviced and calibrated by our repair department.
The case has a few minor scuffs on the outside, but looks great inside. You also get the plumb bob, tool kit, and carrying strap. We’ll probably dig up a manual as well. As an added plus, in comes installed with the high power eyepiece option, giving you 36x magnification, instead of the standard 30x
